WELCOME TO THE FM HALF MARATHON!

MINI MARATHON:

The FM Mini Marathon will start (at 8:50 am) and finish at the Fargo Civic Center in downtown Fargo. Runners will head into Moorhead via the 1st Avenue Bridge, then begin a scenic tour of beautiful residential neighborhoods which border the Red River. The fall colors will be in full force as runners traverse a route that is completely new to the FM running scene. Continuing beyond I-94 via Rivershore Drive, runners will see some of south Moorhead's finest streets and trails... many of which are recently re-surfaced. A quick loop in south Moorhead will bring runners back to the return route and up to 1st Avenue Bridge again.  Once they are back in Fargo, it’s a perfect setting for the last few miles as runners take to the bike paths around Oak Grove Park then back to the Fargo Civic Center Finish Line!

10K RUN:

The 10K runners will start promptly at 8:15 am and follow the same beautiful neighborhood course as the half marathon. The only change for them is that they will turn around at 14th Avenue South in Moorhead, make a quick paved trail loop in Woodlawn Park, then head up to the First Avenue Bridge and into the  Hjemkomst Center. From there, it’s the Oak Grove Park tour again and the Civic Center Finish Line!

5K RUN/WALK:

The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 am from the downtown Civic Center. All runners/walkers will follow the other routes into Moorhead, but turn north into the Hjemkomst Center instead of the southern path of the 10K and Half Marathoners. The 5K Run/Walk will take participants around the Hjemkomst quickly, then back into Fargo and through the beautiful Oak Grove Park trails and back to the Fargo Civic Center Finish Line! You can envision just how awesome this course is going to be... trails, trees and a bridge! What more could anyone want on a crisp, cool October morning?
